Sycamore Retreat

.
Welcome!

Imagine a beautiful and unique estate located in charming Kingston, Washington State’s gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. The Sycamore Retreat is just minutes from the Kingston ferry and 13.5 miles (22 km) from the Bainbridge Island ferry. Easily accessed from main roads with ample parking, whatever you’re looking for, The Sycamore Retreat provides a unique retreat for you!

Sycamore is nestled among 15 rolling wooded acres adjacent to hundreds acres of protected forest. Take a refreshing walk through the woods and over our large pond, enjoying dinner on the BBQ in entertainment patio beside the waterfall, or indulging in a late night dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi.

Enjoy relaxing amidst nearly 4,000 square feet (372 sq. meters) of spectacular Northwest architecture. The great room features vaulted ceilings, hardwood, slate and bluestone floors, a spacious living room and conversational area with a huge wrap-around river rock fireplace to relax and enjoy satellite HDTV or our DVD/Stereo unit. The kitchen includes a six-burner Viking gas stove, two ovens, a microwave, food warmer, one large refrigerator plus a smaller one in the pantry, two dishwashers, and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glassware, serving utensils, etc.

Sycamore boasts three bedrooms, an open-air loft and a luxurious Master Garden Suite. The Master Suite and bedrooms have access to a large patio and beautiful views of the English flower garden, expansive lawns and pond. The Master Garden Suite is a perfect romantic getaway and has a foyer that leads to a spacious, private living area featuring a king size bed and heated slate floors. A gas fireplace, separate laundry facilities, a large flat screen HDTV with stereo and DVD, make the Suite a special getaway unto itself. The Suite also has a spacious private bathroom furnished with a rock and Travertine marble, a two-headed shower and a luxury indoor Jacuzzi. Immediately outside the Suite is a four-person Jacuzzi. There are a total of seven beds; a king in the Master Suite, a king and two queen beds in the three bedrooms, and there are three beds in the loft: 1 queen, 1 double and 1 single bed.

Although the house is gorgeous, the grounds are spectacular. They include a large pond popular with ducks, Canadian geese and our resident Great Blue Heron. Deer and coyotes visit occasionally. Take a refreshing walk over the pond or through the woods on gravel pathways, or enjoy dinner on the expansive brick entertainment patio that’s set beside a landscaped waterfall. Afterwards, why not indulge in a late night dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi?

The Sycamore Retreat is a unique property combining a remarkable home in a stunning natural setting. Whatever special activity you have planned, the Sycamore Retreat has what you need!
